Patti Branco is originally from Illinois and has lived in several states as she charted her career path from financial advisor to senior manager of bank and credit union investment programs. Her work in the financial services industry began in 1986. Prior to her career change to the securities industry, she was a business owner of a successful hair salon in Chicago. She is a professional speaker and a published author. In January 2010 she and her husband of thirty years, Michael, a contractor and a Des Moines, Iowa native, moved to Des Moines permanently.

In December of 2010 Patti resigned from corporate America with the intention of finding worthwhile causes where she could commit her time and talent. She currently volunteers at Mercy hospital and as an arbitrator for the securities industry. Today, she is energized to fight for the honor and privilege of winning the State House for district 34, for her constituents, the people of Iowa and her country.

She is a business leader and has always been involved in her community; her knowledge and achievements stem from the fruit of her rich experience and background, with over twenty five years in significant leadership roles in multi-billion dollar financial corporations. She was State
Investment Manager, California for the thirty-five billion dollar First Nationwide Bank's investment subsidiary, managing over seventy financial advisors and multi-million dollar budgets. In 1994, a national magazine awarded her the prestigious Manager of the Year award. She was the number one State Manager out of 11 states for 9 out of 10 years. She is currently a dispute resolution Arbitrator for FINRA and the securities industry.

Branco is the author of ‘The Path to Million Dollar Production’, a widely acclaimed and in -demand book for financial advisors (Amazon), as well as numerous articles on sales and service in the financial industry and others.  Her first book contribution was a chapter in ‘Real World Leadership Strategies’ by Insight Publishing. Patti has been quoted in major publications. She has been quoted as an expert in N.Y. Times, Chicago Tribune, UPI, Registered Rep, USA Today, WSJ Career Online, Horsesmouth.com and others.

Patti has been married to Mike Branco for almost 30 years and they enjoy three daughters and four grandchildren.They are actively involved in the ministry of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Patti also volunteers at Mercy Hospital and has served on several boards for non-profits.
